I became a Christian on October 12, 1987 in a little country church. Although I was “raised” in a family who regularly went to church, I never took it seriously until then. I used to go to church
sometimes with my parents, but mostly with my sister.
A friend of mine at the time got saved, and he invited me every day to come to this church that had been in a revival for a couple of months, and although he was a teenager like me, he described it as “something he’d never experienced before in his life. He talked about how so many young people were there and how they were accepting Christ one after the other. So, finally I gave in and decided to go. The first night I went was the night I turned my life over to God.
My goals for our church are to increase our attendance, both young and old. I want our members or visitors to care as much about being at our mid-week Bible study as they do our Sunday School and Sunday worship service.
I want to create an environment that people are excited about being a part of and want to participate in, hopefully in person as much as online.
